What is a Nutrition Coach?

As a Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC) I am a “tour guide” through the often confusing world of food science, simplifying things for my clients and making them feel safe and comfortable. My primary job is to educate and empower my clients to make nutritional decisions to maintain their health and reach their goals.

I provide two key services to my clients: Nutrition Guidance and Behavioral Change & Motivation. My education and working knowledge of nutrition science allow me to give my clients guidance on how to incorporate balanced eating into their daily lives while providing behavioral support with goal setting, habit-building, accountability, and encouragement.

Why is Partnering with a Nutrition Coach Important?

…because if we could make changes to our diet and habits on our own, we would have by now, right? Most of us have the desire for change, but we don’t have the information, habits, or support to put that desire into practice. Partnering with your own personal Certified Nutrition Coach gives you all of those things and more.

Beginning with a thorough Health Assessment, I will get to know you personally - your goals, challenges, and unique needs. From there, we will create a nutrition plan tailored to YOU, your preferences, and your lifestyle! Through regular communication, I will consistently educate and motivate you, while providing accountability, reinforcing positive behavioral changes, and working with you to create solutions when challenges and obstacles arise. Together, you and I will create sustainable, healthy habits and patterns of eating for life.

Where do I start?

Great question! The best place to start is with a conversation! My complimentary consultation is designed for us to get to know one another and discuss your health & nutrition goals and current health status. You’ll get to know a bit about my coaching style and how I can help you reach your goals with a personalized nutrition program.
